About School Farm Cottages

Come and stay in one of our well equipped, warm and comfortable self catering cottages, and relax in unspoiled Suffolk countryside, within easy reach of Suffolk's Sunrise Coast.

Our comfortable and well equipped cottages, created from attractively converted farm buildings, were once the farm's dairy and 'neathouse' where David's father milked his herd of Jersey cows. Named after the four village greens, Bell, Swan, North and Silverleys, the cottages provide excellent quality self-catering accommodation. Situated around a south-facing courtyard with pleasant views of the ponds and meadows, all cottages have a patio area and access to a large garden and play area at the back.

To minimise our environmental impact, we've installed biomass heating, solar pV panels and LED lighting where possible.Our Cottages

Each cottage is centrally heated (included in price) and equipped with Freeview TV, DVD player, video and mini stereo as well as a free WiFi connection. Kitchens all have built in oven, hotplates and microwave.

Washing machines and a tumble-drier are provided in the adjoining laundry room. Bell Cottage and Swan Cottage sleep two people and Silverleys Cottage and North Cottage sleep four. All cottages also have a sofa bed in the lounge. A connecting door between Swan Cottage and North Cottage gives the flexibility to cater for larger parties (6 bed spaces in 3 bedrooms, or up to 10 if the sofa beds in the lounges are used)

Explore the footpath walks around the farm and village, or help to bottle feed the lambs. Enjoy the picturesque views overlooking the farm's rolling meadowland and two large ponds where fishing is available. Sample real ale at the village pub, just a short walk away. Cycle hire is available if you would like to enjoy a slower pace around the quiet lanes and gently rolling countryside.
