About Sea Pictures Gallery
Sarah and Alaric Pugh set up Sea Pictures Gallery in 2005 when they lived in London. Originally it was only on the web.
After 4 years of looking for the right place, they moved to Clare in 2008. In September 2009 they held their first exhibition in their new gallery.
In a Georgian shop in the heart of Clare, Suffolk’s Smallest Town, we stock high quality, original, contemporary maritime related art from artists across the UK, with particular emphasis on East Anglian artists.
Many of our artists are members of professional bodies such as the Royal Society of Marine Artists; the Society of Women Artists; the Society of Wildlife Artists; the Society of Wood Engravers and the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists. We also promote talented younger artists who we are confident will be the names of the future.
Normal Opening Times are:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 10am-5pm Sunday 11.30am-3.30pm
