About Brick Kiln Farm Suffolk
If you are looking for a lively site with Clubhouse, Shop and Music – this is NOT the site for you.
Brick Kiln Farm Camping aims to create a peaceful and family friendly, safe environment.
Surrounded by fields, Brick Kiln Campsite is situated in a quiet rural setting but with easy and quick access to the A12, enabling you to explore nearby popular tourist places including Woodbridge, Framlingham, Snape, Aldeburgh.
The main campsite is set in a 1 acre flat hedged field. This is ideal for Group and Family bookings.
Each pitch has a firepit, which is free to use. We do, however, insist that wood is bought from us whilst on site.
Tents are pitched along the hedgeline of the field, with the play area in the centre of field that is visible from all pitches in the Main Field, making it feel very safe for families and allowing children some independence. Children must be supervised at all times whilst on the play equipment.
We have an ‘Adults Only’ area in The Orchard and this is a quieter area.
We do not have any electrical hookup – but we do have plenty of plugs in The Stable area where you can plug in electrical items.
Brick Kiln operates an ‘honesty’ system and items purchased whilst on site, including wood, is settled for at the end of your stay.
Our converted Stable Block offers a small kitchen area where you can wash up and have free access to a fridge and freeze, microwave and kettle.
Off the kitchen is ‘wet weather’ space; There are books and games and tables and chairs.
The block also houses the campsite showers and toilets, with a family shower room and these facilities are regularly cleaned and kept in very good order.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and the owner is responsible for cleaning up after them.
In order to enjoy the peace and quiet at Brick Kiln, we also ask Campers to ‘settle down’ by 10pm, and for children to return to their tents. Likewise, we would respectfully request that young children on waking early in the morning remain in their tents with their parents/carers until the play area is open at 8am.
Please note, that this is a NO MUSIC site, (with the exception of acoustic music). This includes playing music from phones and ipods and ipads and cars.
There is a well stocked village shop, and a pub, ‘The Dog and Duck’ in the village, and both are only a ten to fifteen minute walk across the fields.
There is also a railway station in Campsea Ashe – referred to as ‘Wickham Market Station (for Campsea Ashe). Regular and daily trains run to and from Ipswich and London, and north to Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brick Kiln Farm Camping and are certain you will enjoy your time here.
