About The Queen Brandeston
Alexander Aitchison and family opened The Queen, Brandeston (formerly known as ‘The Queen’s Head Inn’) on 16th July 2015.
The aim of Alexander and his team is to produce good quality food while maintaining the casual, welcoming atmosphere of an English country pub.
The Queen was a finalist for both ‘Chef of the Year’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ in the East Anglian Daily Times Suffolk Food & Drink Awards 2016.
In The Queen’s idyllic Kitchen Garden nestle a Cluster of Shepherds Huts.
Unwind in one of three beautiful ‘Glamper Vans’ which strike the ultimate balance between contemporary comfort and outdoor living - with extra emphasis on the comfort.
So whether it is a romantic weekend away, spending some time catching up with friends or you simply want to enjoy the country side of Suffolk in a little luxury, then these would be just the thing.
Each hut has its own unique style. All boast ‘Queen’ sized beds, luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and fluffy towels. They even boast heating for the chillier evenings.
You will then be perfectly placed, after a restful night’s sleep to sample to breakfast delights of The Queen.
Harriet and the team look forward to welcoming you to the Cluster - but don’t forget your wellies!
