About St Edmundsbury Cathedral

Pilgrims and tourists have been visiting the site of St Edmundsbury Cathedral for over a thousand years. Today, we offer all who come to the Cathedral a warm welcome, the opportunity to pray and the chance to explore on their own or as part of a tour.

The Cathedral is open daily from 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. There is no charge for admission but donations are always welcome.

Christmas 2012 Public Guided Tours: 11.30 am on Boxing Day and New Year's Day. There is no charge for these tours, and they do not need to be pre-booked. Just turn up and meet your guide by the Font.

Regular Public Guided Tours (11.30 a.m. daily except Sundays) run from Monday 9 April 2012 until the end of September.

The Edmund Gallery
The Gallery is generally open from 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. daily.

The Cathedral Refectory
Open Monday to Saturday 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Closed Sundays.

The Cathedral Shop
Open Monday to Saturday 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m and Sunday 11.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
