Enjoy Fishing Holidays in Suffolk at Rumburgh Farm with Rainbow and brown trout and also carp fishing in our 2 lakes.

The lodges overlook the lakes which are stocked with trout and carp so you can enjoy doorstep fly or float fishing on a catch and release basis with barbless hooks.

Fishing is included with your accommodation and we are happy for you to take a trout for the pot but we do not expect you to empty the lake!

Amongst the carp are a few trophy fish – so if you get lucky we can get the camera out!

Fishing in SuffolkWe created the lakes with our local drainage contractor to give the perfect fishing holiday in Suffolk. The first lake was dug in 2004, the year before we built the lodges. This one was stocked with trout. The second lake, which is across the drive from the lodges, was dug in 2010 and is stocked with carp.

The two lakes have formed a very tranquil setting for everyone to enjoy – whether fishermen or not. There is an abundance of wildlife, attracted by the water – kingfishers, various waterfowl including pink footed geese, tufted ducks and even the occasional swan, dragonflies, damsel flies, frogs and much more.
