Our Christmas Farmers’ Market offers locally sourced fresh produce as part of Snape Maltings’ Christmas season.
The market has a wonderful bustling atmosphere and provides easy access for people to buy high quality, local foods and treats for Christmas direct from Suffolk’s artisan producers located at a world class music venue. It provides the chance to talk to producers directly and find out about where they source their ingredients from and the passions for good food that drive their businesses.
Snape Maltings have brought together a Mini Food Festival of artisan food and drink at their renowned music venue on the banks of the Alde estuary. This Christmas market, like the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, is famous for its friendliness and unsurpassed variety of high quality local products, many of which have been produced exclusively for the Christmas Market. At the Christmas Market you will find a wonderful array of delicious food and drink which will make your Christmas truly special. There is something for everyone – even Christmas treats for your dog!
When you come to the Market, make sure to visit the Snape Maltings shops which are stocked with a fantastic array of food, toys, books, cards, clothing, homeware, crafts and antiques as well as everything for the music lover in the Concert Hall Shop. The shops are open on Sunday 23 December from from 10-4 p.m.
